No. All interaction with the horse is done from the ground.
There is absolutely no horse experience needed.
There are up to three horses in the arena, depending in part on the goals of the individual or group
4 to 8 sessions, depending on personal goals. Individuals experiencing transitions often benefit from a single session to support them in their process. More sessions will better assist those with chronic or long-term conditions.
In these sessions we support you in tuning into your body and internal guidance as well as receiving the guidance offered by the horses.
Together you will find and answer your questions and learn to act with personal wisdom and authenticity. Participants repeatedly tell us they find their sessions empowering and life changing.
Participants come with a range of experience with and feelings toward horses...All feelings are welcome, and no experience is necessary. They each have left with a sense of reverence and awe for these amazing equine beings.
Complete the intake form on our website; that will help you to think and talk about what you would like to get out of the session. Dress appropriately. Please share any of your questions or concerns with any Unbridled Ways staff so that we can insure you have a wonderful experience.

If you are being seen for Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy and have insurance that covers mental health conditions, and you have a qualifying mental health diagnosis, your insurance may cover part or all of your session. The best way to find out is to give your insurance a call directly.
We can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company directly for reimbursement
